The opening ceremony of the Asia Pacific Film Producers' Alliance cultural exchange and international film rights trading event was held in Qufu

Founded in 1954 by Mr. Run Run Shaw, a famous patriot, the Asia Pacific Film Producers' Alliance has been developing for 64 years. It is one of the most geographically diverse film producers' alliances in the world. At present, the current president of the alliance is Yang Shiyan, and the permanent secretariat is located in Beijing, China. With the rapid development of the domestic film industry, China has become the core member and the backbone of the alliance.

Beijing Tsinghua Yiyou Culture and Technology Development Co., LTD., as the representative and operating body of the alliance in China, was approved by Tsinghua University and relevant departments in 2011, and then joined the Asia-Pacific Film Producers Alliance. Mr. Yang Shiyan, President of Tsinghua Yiyou Company, was elected as the chairman of the alliance at the Alliance Council meeting held in Kuala Lumpur in 2016. Tsinghua Yiyou, relying on Tsinghua University, gathers hundreds of thousands of Tsinghua University alumni resources to engage in international mainstream cultural communication and communication, and build international multicultural integration and development. From 2015 to 2018, several important activities of the Alliance were organized.

All the members of the conference unanimously swore to abide by the purpose of the Declaration and the Articles of Association, and unanimously supported that under the leadership of Chairman Yang Shiyan, the members of the Alliance should work closely together to oppose division, infringement, repudiation and destruction, fight against infringement, counterfeiting and other destructive acts against the Asia-Pacific Film Producers' Alliance worldwide, and build a sound environment for the development of the Alliance. The FPA International Film Trading Center has been established in Qufu

During this event, the representatives of the Asia Pacific Film Alliance brought their own films, introduced them to Chinese film production companies, exchanged films and made films together.

In order to better spread Chinese domestic films to the Asia-Pacific region, and introduce excellent film and television works from the Asia-Pacific region to China; To realize the goal of complementary advantages, resource sharing and common development of alliance member organizations. After full investigation and detailed planning, the Asia-Pacific Film Producers Alliance and the Qufu Municipal People's Government have reached a strategic consensus on the construction of international film trading. They plan to build a high-tech, world-first "International film copyright trading center" with the significance of the integration and development of Chinese and Western cultures in Qufu, the holy city of the East, the hometown of Confucius, the highland of world civilization. And at the closing ceremony on November 13, they signed a project cooperation agreement. After the closing ceremony, all the members of the FPA Alliance held a ceremony for the Asia-Pacific Film Producers Alliance titled "The Ceremony for the Hole" under the leadership of Chairman Yang Shi-yeon.

After the establishment of the Film Copyright Trading Center of the Asia Pacific Film Producers Alliance, it will create a new cultural exchange bridge between the alliance members and Chinese film distribution agencies in the field of copyright trading, online international copyright trading and blockchain application.
